He has worked in aviation for over a decade with a background in airspace and AIM regulation, instrument fight procedure design, and air traffic control.With a passion for drones and their potential for society. His mission is to promote and regulate the industry, to maximise competitive and socio-economic benefits, while ensuring the highest level of safety, security, and protection for the State. He represents the Authority at EASA UAS TeB, ECAC, and JARUS.Enda has extensive military leadership experience both at home & overseas, having retired from the Irish Defence Forces as a Captain, where he served in both the Air Corps & Infantry. Early in his career he worked as a software engineer and retains a strong interest in cryptography & A.I.
