▪ Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a therapeutic group home licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) that provides residential care and psychotherapeutic services for at-risk vulnerable adolescent males referred by the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS)▪ Responsible for the facility’s compliance with Code of Maryland Regulations▪ Responsible for intake oversight, monitoring progress, discharge, and after-care planning for youth at the facility▪ Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment by the clinical staff.▪ Supervise 15 staff including a licensed mental health professional▪ Responsible for hiring, disciplinary, and termination decisions regarding all staff▪ Identify training needs of staff and develop and implement training programs that enhance the ability of the staff to meet the needs of the youth served▪ Review all incident reports and compile statistical reports for monitoring agencies.▪ Responsible for maintenance and up-keep of the facility▪ Accountable for site budget and daily expenditures▪ Lead regular interdisciplinary team meetings▪ Work in conjunction with state agencies and the school system to address the educational needs of the youth served▪ Respond to all emergency situations on a 24-hour on-call basis
