As Material Supply Management Engineer I oversee projects and provide contractual advice and support for managing material contracts with vendors. I analyze the clauses of supplier contracts to evaluate the applicability of contractual penalties. In coordination with the functions involved in contracts execution, I ensure adherence to contract terms, analyze risks, mitigate them, and identify opportunities to improve and maintain project margins. In this role, I serve as the single point of contact during contract negotiations, managing communications with suppliers to resolve contract disputes, apply liquidated damages, and handle contract renewals, cancellations, and amendments.
