Chase is the Founder + Principal at Greenbound Consulting LLC providing consulting and professional services to organizations catalyzing energy justice by applying 14+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, developing talent, building strategic partnerships, and bridging policy and implementation enabling a just clean energy transition for all.Previously, Chase led a talented, mission-driven team of more than 80 staff at Virginia’s largest non-profit provider of weatherization services, CHP Energy Solutions, dedicated to delivering energy-saving services to income-qualifying, elderly, and other energy-burdened, under-resourced communities across Virginia and the Southeastern United States. Services included home deferral repairs, electrification, weatherization, and solarization through federal, state, and utility-sponsored programs at no cost to participants. He and his team delivered services safely and effectively to more than 30,000 households between 2015 and 2023.He is a Certified Energy Manager®, licensed Virginia Residential Building Energy Analyst, a past fellow of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, holds several designations with the Building Performance Institute, and serves as the Global Director of Outreach for Weatherizers Without Borders. He has served and held leadership positions on several boards including the Virginia Energy Efficiency Council, the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, and the Association of Energy Conservation Professionals. He was also recognized on Energy News Network's 2020 40 Under 40 list of clean energy leaders. In 2023, Virginia's Senate appointed him to the Virginia Solar Energy Development and Energy Storage Authority. Chase entered the weatherization industry in 2010 after completing a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning at Virginia Tech.
