• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networkservers, and virtualization• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrateautomation processes• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems andresolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new orupgrades of IT infrastructure• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for dataprotection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures• Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, andrelated equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions• Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance• Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions.• Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present foreach network resource.• Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats, anddeveloping disaster recovery plans.• Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.• Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls, IPS&IDS, Smtpgateway,WebProxy, DLP, SIEM and anti-virus software.

• Installing and configuring new technology to be used by the company, such as hardware, operativesystems, and programs or applications.• Giving regular maintenance to existing hardware and computer systems.• Providing assistance to company staff or clients with technology-related issues:o Understanding the issue and its cause;o solving the problemo explaining the problem to the staff member or client.• Troubleshooting systems and applications:o Running diagnostics on malfunctioning hardware or softwareo finding solutions for any issue and implementing it.• Replacing damaged or malfunctioning parts on hardware when necessary:o Ordering new parts when out of stock.• Writing reports on the status of all hardware and software in the company.• Implementing and assisting on the roll out of new applications or operating systems:o Learning about the new application or operating systems;o running tests before implementing them in all systems;o evaluating new applications or operative systems; ando installing them on all systems in the company.• Setting up profiles, emails, and issuing access passes for new employees and assisting in allpassword-related issues.• Running security checks on all systems.
