CurrentTasks and Responsibilities:Substation Testing and Commissioning:Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of various electrical substations, including extra high voltage (EHV), high voltage (HV), and medium voltage (MV) systems.Ensure all systems comply with client standards and regulations.Equipment Testing:Perform comprehensive testing of various types of protection relays, circuit breakers, Current Transformers (CT), Voltage Transformers (VT), and meters to ensure accuracy and reliability.Conduct insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, stability testing, and other electrical tests to validate equipment integrity.Control and Protection Panel Scheme Checks:Oversee the integration of panels into the overall electrical system, ensuring seamless operation of all components.Execute scheme checks of control and protection panels to verify correct operation under various scenarios.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare detailed test reports, including observations, test results, and recommendations for improvements or necessary repairs.Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements.Project Support:Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure testing and commissioning activities are completed on schedule.Provide technical guidance and support to the testing team, helping to resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
