My role involves:- Assisting in clearing material shortages, provisioning triggers, and store discrepancies to avoid backlogs and quarantine stock build-up. Identify and implement corrective actions as required.- Supporting periodic audits of inventory parameters, including Re-order point, Order Quantity, Lead Time, Average Monthly Usage (ASM) etc., recommending areas to improve metrics.-Support cost optimization opportunities by engaging in projects as required- Resource planning and allocation based on consumption rates, costs and prioritization- Developing and maintaining standard sales and operations yearly, monthly and weekly plans and forecasts-Translating the weekly plans to daily schedules for factory floor staff, and analysing and reporting on adherence-Implementing and upholding occupational health and safety guidelines on the factory floor-Data Analysis and cost analysis to measure the current operational cost vs budget and recommend corrective actions to reduce/eliminate the variance-Escalating critical shortages and service failures and identifying corrective actions to maintain performance, productivity and delivery at the agreed level-Supporting teams by carrying out the procurement process-Supporting the finance teams by billing vendors and escalating due accounts for payment

Involved in the daily planning of operations, allocation of resources, tracking and reporting of schedule adherence-Analysis of resource utilization-Optimization of resource utilization in line with the business goals
