Maximo is a professional that is self-motivated, output-oriented and with eleven (13) years of hands-on experience in analytical tools for hydro-meteorological data processing and hydrological modeling for generation of sound information to support decision making regarding sustainable Water Resources Planning, Management and Development. His experience in analytical hydrological tools is strongly accompanied by the experience in the application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing in water resources assessment studies. As a national network member for the Nile Basin Decision Support System (NB DSS) users, Maximo has participated in several trainings of trainers (ToT) and working sessions for testing and using the NB DSS at its different stages of development, and thus acquiring experience in the application of the NB DSS to address a wide range of real water resources management and development scenarios within the Nile Basin to achieve maximum social, economic and environmental benefits. Through post graduate education, Maximo acquired deeper and specialized hands-on modelling exposure in Surface Water Modelling/Hydrological Modelling, River Modelling/Hydro-dynamic Modelling, Groundwater Modelling and modelling of impacts of climate change on climate related extreme events such as droughts and floods. Maximo also has practical experience covering Water Balance Studies, Water Allocation Modeling, Extreme Value Analysis (EVA) including estimation of low and peak flow magnitudes.
