The company’s investment partner is a highly regarded technology and equipment provider for the pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Eng3 was founded in 2003.Hans is trained as a materials engineer and has spent 22 years successfully managing production, quality assurance and regulatory affairs for medical companies. Before founding Eng3, he had a leading role in numerous successful ventures in the field of human implants. Hans formed and built Eng Elektonenstrahlschweissen, a German-based company that designed and produced human implants for medical use and products for the space industry. This company was also a supplier to other leading human implants companies. Prior to this venture, Hans managed quality assurance and production for the human implant division at Johnson & Johnson Corporation, and before that at Mecron GmbH.Hans holds an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from the TFH-University of Applied Sciences-Berlin. He is an avid mountaineer, snowboarder and sailor and has spent more than ten years providing volunteer rescue work as a certified rescue diver and paramedic.
