• Directly manage and assist in new construction & modernization elevator project development & design to Architects and building developers.• Support office active projects to ensure client satisfaction, quality, timeliness of deliverables including complex traffic analysis, reports, field audits, technical bidding specifications and all pertinent client questions/recommendations.• Coordinate the Revit design team to deliver design layouts along with reviewing and submitting them directly to clients.• Direct client Business Development.• Direct client and construction administration support from concept design to construction administration close out.• Manage billing to clients and invoices with finance department.• Manage aged receivables.

• Create and Analyze building site surveys to review and apply the best practice elevator engineering solution for modernization scope.• Custom design assemblies and coordinated new mechanical/electro-mechanical elevator equipment for over 40 different branches across the nation to conform with their local code, modernization scope and specifications.• Create, utilize, and maintain excel macros to aid in leaner engineering processes to bring down Engineering dept. budget and time.

• Mechanically design and draft (two man team) on a new product concept to reach the tallest rise, USA made escalator.• Design, model, and draft 1,200+ inventor / AutoCAD drawings to come together and be assembled at the same facility. We brought a concept to production within 18 months, collaborating immensely with purchasing groups, local fabrication, machining shops and mechanics on the manufacturing floor to produce a successful product.• Program and debug mass upload program to take AutoCAD drawings & Material Specifications to database systems to meet Engineering deadline schedules.

This work involved prototypes, reverse engineering, and high tolerance drafting. Oystar isa leading company in pneumatic packaging machinery. Meeting project release dates andmaintaining E.C.Os were essential.

WIU put together a multidisciplinary team of engineering, business, and communicationstudents to provide a comprehensive review, analysis, and design for a lean and efficientfactory layout that would be utilized in re-configuring their process. Our team modeled our findings with the “simulation with arena program”.
