Industrial Engineer at Fircos ShoesJanuary 2024 – PresentAs the first Industrial Engineer at Philco Shoes, I have led multiple projects aimed at optimizing operations and implementing lean manufacturing practices across various departments.Raw Material Store Optimization: Spearheaded the transformation of three stores by applying lean manufacturing principles. Developed and presented an efficient layout plan to the board, which was approved and implemented successfully one month ahead of schedule. Cleared dead stock, streamlined inventory, and created additional storage space, significantly improving workflow and efficiency.Establishment of Maintenance Department: Initiated and set up the company’s first dedicated Maintenance Department. Established a comprehensive system for tracking spare parts, managing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance protocols. This project involved forming a team and developing a structured process for ongoing and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring improved equipment reliability and reduced downtime.Stitching Line Optimization: Currently working on optimizing the sole in-house stitching line for salary-based workers, focusing on process improvement and efficiency enhancement. This project aims to standardize operations, reduce production time, and improve overall quality.I am actively contributing to improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the company.
