Director - Construction Operations & Technical Deptt.
Serving at the Corporate Head Office, the core responsibility was to Provide Mentorship to the Projects’ leaders with a focus on the technical requirements. Few major responsibilities included translating the complex client requirements into simple actionable items, monitoring the progress on projects and resolve their issues, submissions as well as approvals of “Revised Scopes, Designs, Shop Drawing and Revised BOQs”, proposing and ensuring value engineering in favor of the project and the company, leading the Bid Support, carrying out technical evaluations and recommend “make or buy decisions” and study the latest systems suitable for company developments (including Autodesk, BIM) in line with the ever increasing adoption of Digital Twins.

Manager Pmo - Transportation Projects
With a major change in the organizational setup in the company, PMO department was developed in Al Ayuni. Myself was assigned as PMO manager Transportation Business Unit. Previously served role of Planning & Monitoring Manager was merged into this new role. Major additional responsibilities included preparation and follow up of Cash flow plans, project risks management, working out AICC standard productivities, method statements, developing the processes using BPMN, project health check audits, assessment of the key staffs for their assigned roles, act as data hub for all the projects’ documents and leading the development of KPIs and Dash Boards as well as their implementation.
Manager - Planning & Monitoring
Major role was to develop a new Projects Planning & Monitoring department at the execution head office located at Abha City in KSA. Major responsibilities included site visits, dry cost estimates & Cost Cards, resource requirement, Master Construction Schedules, Kick-off meetings, Mobilization Plans, Cash flow plans, CTC, projects’ funding plans, performance reports, productivity reports, unbilled status reports, Closing Projects status reports, Issues log updates, Incentive systems & reports, risk registers, issues registers, system approvals, monitoring the “as built” status and handing over status as well as updating the Final Payment Certificates.
Incharge Planning
Here, My resposibilities include two major categories, one of which is Company's Systems Development & thier Implementation and 2nd is Project Planning. Company Systems include the Project Monitoring & analysis System (PMS) which is an Online Software and takes input online from work sites scattered all over the Kingdom (This system is in the phase of Maintenance, Training & Support) Other software includes HRM System which is in the phase of its Architecture Analysis.The 2nd half includes Project Monitoring and Planning & Scheduling works for Highway and Bridges Construction Project.

In DESCON after joining Infrastructure Projects Business Area I did go through the intensive Session of Training on Construction Management Tools & Techniques. Then I was deployed as an Area Planner at Multi Million Dollars Project of WAPDA i.e Mangla Dam Raising Project which is one the largest infrastructure Projects in Pakistan. Here my responsibilities included - Generation of Look Ahead Plans - Monitoring by analysis the Progress, Efficiency and Consumables - To Identify the updated requirement of manpower, direct materials, direct consumables and Equipment based on Latest Forecast planand to ensure that all Company Systems are working and being updated properly.

Right after my graduation I had joined SKB & got deployed at thier Multi Billion Rs. Infra Structural Development Project of Defence Housing Authority Phase-VI. Here during my tenure my responsibilities included the - Execution/Monitoring of Site Works (i.e. Road Works and Water Supply and Sewerage Works)- Preparation of Shop Drawings and getting them approved by the Consultants- Submission of Samples, their testing and Approval by the Consultants- Materials & Man Power Requirements Analysis' based on Work plan- Generation of Check Requests and getting their approval by the Consultants- Generation of Project Progress Reports
