• Develop, implement, and evaluate overall maintenance policies and procedures of the plant• Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement and up gradation of machines• Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of machines to ensure adequate working conditions• Business planning for the year for R&M and power utilities.• Managing the Capex for the running year and planning for years to come based upon the plant requirements.• Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use• Timely ordering of spare parts with the help of Production Engineers for annual and routine preventive maintenance of relevant area• Supervise all the maintenance activities assigned to Maintenance Engineers i.e Electrical, Mechanical and Utilities Engineers• Ensure smooth operation of plant electrical, mechanical utilities and workshops• Implementaion of anual contracts of installed Gensets, UPS and HVAC systems• Ensure GMP conditions of concerned Utilities sections and Workshops• Effective utilization of SAP.• Hiring of technical staff.• Supporting & facilitating other departments in achieving their targets.• Implementation of Quality,HSE management system.• Ensure all production KPI’s are achieved specifically PET• Troubleshooting and breakdown reduction of production Lines by doing preventive maintenance and availability of critical spares.
