With scientific collaborations, rapid prototyping methods and components were used to facilitate form, fit, and function. Incorporated new and existing technologies such as miniature LCD screens, micro controllers, printed circuit boards and motor controls. Served as the lead mechanical engineer for Sucrose Preference systems. Many differing prototypes were quickly configured to present fluid to the animal using a drop metering technique. Developed many low cost working prototypes utilizing cutting edge technologies (ex. 3D printing). Implemented numerous ad-hoc requests in timely manner by leveraging team members and out-sourcing.
