    Within this voluntary role I oversee the Operations department which is responsible for ensuring the effective running of the company, the goal of which is to develop the sport of Roller Derby in the Merseyside area. Since becoming involved I have concentrated on developing competitive teams by focusing on effective team work. This year the men’s team won their division of the British Championships and our women’s team became the fastest progressing team in Europe - currently ranked 28th.
