Member of a small team of investment professionals attached to BNP Paribas CFO, in charge of strategic investments for the Group. Main responsibilities include: • Analysis and structuring of corporate development / M&A transactions such as external acquisition / partnerships / divestment projects. • Performing financial engineering and optimization for the General Management, across all business lines and geographies. • Management of BNP Paribas Group’s own funds through different instruments. • Financial optimization of the Group set-up and allocation of own funds between different entities.

Transformed a dispersed activity into an integrated organization covering 15 countries and scaled the efficiency with customized approach. • Oversaw the vertical integration of Factoring activity, covering ~28 B€ with matrix reporting line of 10 CROs and a total of 150 FTEs. • Orchestrated the execution of the Group strategic development plan with customized processes and solutions to increase the efficiency per country /region. • Supervised entire value chain in Turkey and Poland, including the design of the new organization and leading the due diligence and post-acquisition integration of 500 M€ loan portfolio.

Held the overall strategic and sensitive control responsibilities on global basis across all business lines and geographies for “Inspection Générale”, specialized strategic team under the direct authority of BNP Paribas Group CEO. • Evaluated various business lines’ strategies, decision-making processes, and risk management set-ups to ensure the effectiveness of the internal control setup. • Analyzed and challenged large volumes of information and performed specific sets of testing to qualify and quantify key risks and presented global assessments and recommendations to BNP Paribas’ top management at the end of each assignment. • Ensured that the key messages related to my scope were clearly and concisely communicated in 9 distinct business contexts in 8 different countries.

• Managed USD 4Bn credit portfolio through different financing structures for large corporations and multinational corporations operating in diverse sectors in Turkey.• Assigned tasks and delivered expertise to a team of four credit analysts across corporate branches and further two at head office to ensure achievement of business targets.

• Scrutinized new and increased lending for large corporate client portfolio, including evaluating company, market and financial data to deliver risk opinion at weekly credit committee. • Composed credit memorandums and security documentation, delivered to local Board of Directors and top management in Paris, fostering loan origination for limits above country delegation.
