Current• Install and test customer network equipment. • Troubleshoot routing and configuration issues when dispatched for customer trouble tickets. • Capable of working in all types of commercial building and settings. • Test and turn up of Cisco Fiber BPX equipment • Ability to terminate provider Augment cabling in our Network cabinets in the Central Office. • Worked over night maintenance windows to install and test new circuits in the Central office. • Responsible for maintaining 15 Central Office locations in the Austin market. • Worked with Adtran and Nokia Deslam equipment and all of the associated network cards. • Installed and tested new DS3, DS1 and T1 circuits in the Central office. • Executed test and acceptance of circuits with the Provider and our Engineers • Ran cable for new installs, generally in office building from the Telco room to customer’s suite. • Managed the inventory for my company vehicle and the Austin area storage locker. • Scrubbed orders and trouble tickets to validate dispatches. • Performed proof of concept installs for new customers. • Provided information and necessary steps for creation and upgrades of installation documentation.
