• Managing the Disruptive Agricultural Technologies with the World Bank and built relationships with the 16 counties in this project.
• Developing new partnerships with key actors in the smart agriculture sector.
• Evaluating partner’s goals and needs to provide solutions that minimized operational risks and increased the potential for success in the partnerships.
• Drafting and negotiating contract terms and non-disclosure agreements with the relevant partners.
• Managing the business development team and ensure a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Kenya

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Identified, assessed, planned, designed, and implemented water projects in the project areas (Garissa, Tana River, Wajir, and Turkana Counties).
• Conducted engineering designs of the Water and Sanitation Projects in the project areas.
• Prepared BoQs, tender dossiers,and conducted technical assessments of bids in the tender committees.
• Supervised contractors and ensured quality throughout the implementation of construction work as per Oxfam's values of inclusiveness, empowerment of beneficiaries and accountability.
• Designed capacity-building plans on operations and maintenance and hand-over strategies of projects to the communities.

Juba, South Sudan

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Assessed and evaluated needs for WASH interventions at the household and community level and designing solutions in a holistic and integrated approach (including Integrated Water Resource Management and Irrigation).
• Carried out the selection, design, and construction of water systems, using groundwater or surface water, including abstraction, storage, treatment and distribution for new systems or rehabilitation of existing.
• Selected, designed, and implemented the most appropriate form of sanitation systems, in consultation with the beneficiaries and the PHP team.
• Prepared bill of quantities BOQs for all construction work, TORs, and any other technical documentation required for tender dossiers.
• Supervised WASH implementation and provided technical guidance in the program.

South Sudan

• Duties and responsibilities
• Supported the WASH and FSL department in developing, designing, implementing, and monitoring water resources and irrigation components in Warrap State.
• Offered technical support to the field team in Warrap State in the design of earth dams and irrigation schemes for smallholder farmers for surface runoff collection.
• Designed rope and washer pumps for pumping the water from the earth dams to the farms, hence a significant reduction in the use of diesel pumps.
• Conducted GPS surveys and mapping out of all the areas to be irrigated.
• Supervised the contractors in the fabrication and excavation work.

Nairobi

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Offered technical expertise to clients in the interpretation of hydrological reports and water quality test reports.
• Prepared BOQs, organized and conducted regular training for the technical team within Kenya and out of Kenya.
• Supervised the engineering, design, and implementation of water resources and irrigation projects outside Kenya (Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Somalia, Uganda, and Ethiopia).Key achievements
• Led in the expansion of the engineering department from a team of 3 engineers to 18 engineers and their decentralization for better service delivery.
• Managed a team of 18 Water Engineers across Kenya.

Nairobi

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducted technical for the design and installation of solar water pumps and drip irrigation systems.
• Designed and installed solar water pumps and drip irrigation systems across many parts of Kenya.
• Trained clients on O&M (Operations and Maintenance) of water supply systems (pumps, solar power controls, pipelines).
• Offered after-sale services wherever required and developed user manuals for all systems installed.Key achievements
• Contributed to the reduction in the use of diesel pumps by 30% in Mandera County (this program is still running to date).

Hargeysa, Somalia

Supported the FSL department in developing, designing, implementing, and monitoring a climate-smart solar-powered irrigation system in Borama. Offered training to EELO University students on the designed systems coupled with technical guidance during the installation of solar pumps in the hand-dug wells, construction of tank stands, solar-panels stands.

Kenya

Supervised the construction of 3 weirs and rehabilitation of 12 earth dams in Machakos and Tharaka-Nithi Counties under the Ministry of Water, Natural Resources and Environment by ensuring quality and timely delivery by the contractors.
