Halifax Class Frigates, AOPS and CSC (Canadian Surface Combatant) ships projects:- 3D Modelling - Creation of Manufacturing Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and Reports- Main fields of exposure: Piping, HVAC, and Outfitting- Support of Design Reviews for producibility/construction (3D Model and BoM)- Creation of Design Rules- Development of production norms based on time studies and data analysis - Above average annual performance reviews - Analyzing trends and tools/equipment limitations- Advanced use of 3D tools like CreoView, Microstation, and Universal Plant Viewer (UPV)

System Responsible Engineer on the Joint Support Ships (JSS) project - Royal Canadian Navy:Responsible for:- 6 Complex Piping systems- 12 Mechanical Equipment package contracts (Pumps, filters, valves, insulation, pressure vessels, etc)- Design/Review/Approval of Pipe and HVAC technical documents- Writing/Revising contract technical specifications- Equipment sizing/selection- Updates on drawings, diagrams, BOMs (bill of materials) and technical documentation - Managing design changes including manufacturing drawings- Writing manuals, reports, installation instructions and test and trials documentation- Assessing calculation packages- Ensuring contract design requirements are met- Checking and revising 3D Models, Duct and Piping Diagrams- Ensuring bill of materials (BOMs) and modelling info match- Working constantly with other disciplines to avoid mutual impacts and clashes- Reviewing vendors/suppliers' equipment information

Responsibilities within the Chevron/Parkland Burnaby Refinery LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Program: - AutoCAD Drafting of over 200 complex drawings with more than 18,000 AutoCAD blocks- As-build of Mechanical/Piping systems on diagrams and isometrics- Expressive data collection and inventorying around 26,000 items in the Refinery (type, location, size, photos, connectors orientation of valves, instruments, vessels, furnaces, columns, pumps, and compressors)- Field verification- Spreadsheets and database updates- Mentoring inventory technicians and contractors- Checking/Auditing contractor work- Management of Changes (MOCs) on drawings and data after Refinery yearly turnarounds

During the construction of Oil&Gas production Ships (FPSOs), responsible for:- Design and modification of mechanical systems (Rotating Equipment, Piping and HVAC - 2 years at each discipline)- Preparation of AutoCAD drawings,- Piping and Duct Diagrams (P&IDs and D&IDs), - Hydraulic and HVAC calculations, and- 3D general arrangements- Development of contractual specifications, manuals, reports, and technical documentation- Software used: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks, Pipeflow and Carrier HAP

Developed and updated executive procedures of offshore operations, physical schedules, spreadsheets, physical and financial control, supporting the planning and execution of engineering projects. The main client was Petrobras Corporation.
