Responsible for engineering tasks in EFS (Al Ezz Flat Steel) plants including mechanical design and analysis of new or modified equipment and reverse engineering of existing parts and components.Involved in all engineering practices and tasks related to new EFS melt shop expansion project such as technical support of erection teams, solving technical problems, reviewing engineering drawings and documents, and design of new mechanical components or modifying existing ones necessary for project completion. Projects examples:- Calculation of counterweight values for belt conveyors in new RMH- Design or Design Revision and Analysis of many lifting systems - New Pipelines design and creating Isometrics drawings - Conducting Pipelines stress analysis - New EAF Plancher cooled water panel support design - Pneumatic post pipeline and steel walkways design (carrying samples from EAF & LF to laboratory)- Steelworks engineering design (staircases, walkways, platforms, pipeline supports ...etc.)- EFS Weighing system re-design to increase its capacity by 50%- New Height Limitation design and analysis.

KAMA R&D Dept. consists of 3 teams as following;o R&D Team:- New products creation and study from concept design to detailed manufacturing drawings. - New products prototype management and samples manufacturing follow-up.- Costing of new productso Operations Support Team:- Supervise and lead technical office tasks and projects which are requested from sales dept.- Provide detailed costing sheets for management and sales team.- New Projects Study; Calculation of CapEx, Factory layout, Depreciation, Annual Revenue ,.. etc. o Optimization Team:- Increase machines’ efficiency, effectiveness and reduce all kind of production wastes.- Control and improve raw material consumption for each product.- Implement Lean project to eliminate bottlenecks in production lines and controlling products’ routing to achieve shortest lead time and optimum machines’ utilization.- Implement cost reduction projects; reducing material scrap, cycle time and WIP and enhancing material flow and productivity.

Achievements:  Design and develop the company new product which includes:A- Electrical Enclosures up to 630A and IP 54; (4 panels sold with busbar, back plates and breakers)B- Busbar systems.C- Storage Unites (built sheet metal storing rack with max. capacity 24 Ton). D- Stainless steel enclosures and cabinets; (600 units sold)E- Solar Water Heater. (Prototype). F- Stainless steel Drainage systems
