• Responsible for the Monitoring LAN/WAN, NOC Operations and provides troubleshooting and fault finding services for network problems.• Part of 24x7 Network Operations team at Data Centre for network infrastructure’s monitoring, maintaining resilience, reliability and availability of services• Experience with Cisco 4506, 3750, 3560, 3550, 2900 series switches and Cisco 3600, 3800 series routers.• Participate as team member in running projects of configuration, installation, deployment and up gradation of network• Using Network Monitoring Tools for continuous network status monitoring, troubleshooting for identifying & rectifying network related issues in LAN/WAN. • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software and peripherals, including network servers, storage, network operating systems, PCs and PC applications, LAN cabling, system security and virus protection.• Support telecommunications systems including business telephone switches, VOIP, carrier Ethernet, and other telecommunications technology.• Work with Windows 2008-2012 Server, and Active Directory in a complex LAN and WAN computing environment.• Ensures network security best practices are intergraded into the entire infrastructure• Maintaining up to date Network Infrastructure documentation and diagrams • Assist in deploying remediation plan in case of network service failures• Ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions
