During the Tendering Phase, I have experience working on multiple projects related to HV Substations and Water Treatment Stations in Egypt, KSA, Dubai, and Iraq including but not limited to: the Jubail New Cogeneration (CHP) Project, 90 MIGD IWP at Hamriyah, Rabigh CCPP, LOT 1 & 2_132kV Substations, Mintia CCPP Romania, 17 SS in Iraq with TTC, New 400kV Dubal ss.My responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing comprehensive electrical layouts and building arrangements, Compiling Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for the necessary equipment and materials, complete with their technical specifications, Reviewing technical data sheets and specifications for the specified equipment and materials from various suppliers.

As a Field Electrical Engineer, I provide support to the construction team and the testing and commissioning team at the New Babil Substation with a rating of 400/132/11 kV. My role involves addressing and resolving electrical site issues including all MEP Electrical Works also.

I have extensive engineering experience in the design of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations and power plants, including projects such as Maysan Substation (400/132/11 kV BSP), Mothana Substation (400/132/11 kV BSP), Shat Al-Arab Substation (400/132/11 kV BSP), Shatra Substation (400/132/11 kV BSP), New Babil Substation (400/132/11 kV BSP), and LAYYAH Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP).My electrical design expertise encompasses the following: Overall equipment layout and sectional plans for substations, Equipment arrangement layout, including the layout for power transformers, auxiliary transformers, and capacitor banks, as well as Routing and raceway design for power and control cables, as well as Wall openings and floor cutouts for power substations, as well as Design of grounding systems, utilizing methods such as Manual, CYM grid, and CDEGS, as well as Layout of earthing grids and equipment earthing arrangements, as well as Shielding calculations and overall shielding layout as well as Layout design for High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) cable trenches and duct banks, as well as All of these designs involve close coordination with other engineering disciplines, such as architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, process engineering, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams, to ensure a seamless and integrated design output.In addition to design work, I am responsible for preparing Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for the procurement of equipment and materials. I also review all technical data sheets and specifications for each piece of equipment sourced from suppliers for each project.
