Dr. Abro, an illustrious scholar and academician, was born on September 6, 1992, in the quaint village of Rahwat Khan Abro in Larkana, Sindh. His academic journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, with over eight years of dedicated teaching and research experience. Dr. Abro has made significant contributions to various domains, including control systems, computer vision, unmanned autonomous systems, Internet of Robotic Things (IoRT), and Underactuated Systems. Graduating with distinction, Dr. Abro earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2016. His academic prowess was recognized with the Hakeem Said Gold Medal, a testament to his exemplary performance as the valedictorian of his batch. Continuing his academic pursuits, he achieved a milestone by completing his MS by Research in Electronic Engineering, specializing in the Modeling, Controlling, and Stabilization of Air-cushion Vehicles (ACV) at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, in 2019. In July 2023, Dr. Abro reached the pinnacle of academic achievement, obtaining his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Stability Control and Observer Designs for Underactuated Drones from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. His doctoral research demonstrated exceptional distinction, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in critical areas.Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Abro has been a recipient of numerous local and international project and travel grants, further underscoring the recognition of his contributions to the field. His dedication to the field extends beyond academic pursuits, as evidenced by his active involvement with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 2013. Over the years, he has taken on various leadership roles, showcasing his commitment and leadership skills. Notable positions include serving as such as Secretary of IEEE UTP Student Branch in 2020, Member of IEEE SAC Malaysia, Secretary of IEEE ROMA Flagship Conference, Malaysia from 2021 to 2022, and Coordinator for IEEE Technical Activities at IEEE YP Malaysia from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Dr. Abro holds the position of a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Aviation and Space Exploration (IRCASE), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, he continues to contribute to advancements in knowledge and research, emphasizing his dedication to the exploration of critical areas within his field.
