Managed and ensured uninterrupted operation of 5.3MW NIGATA Engines (16V32CLX) at a power plant, overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of HFO engines, auxiliary equipment, and mechanical systems. Utilized ORACLE EAM/ERP for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, significantly reducing MTBF/MTTF. Supervised a team of technicians, conducted safety audits, and implemented safety protocols. Provided regular reports to the Plant Manager on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance. Contributed to continuous improvement initiatives, emergency response, and major plant upgrades, enhancing plant efficiency and reliability.

Consolidated operations currently comprise of Polyester Plants and Textile Spinning Plants supported by in house Power Generation Plants (based on HFO, Gas and Coal). The Polyester Plants produce a wide range of Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) in different varieties, lusters, cut lengths and fineness. Besides, these polyester plants also produce dyed and hollow fibres in siliconised and non-siliconised varieties. The Textile Spinning Plants specialize in production of finer counts of blended as well as pure synthetic yarns.Training at IFL has been the most learning experience i have had, i believe training at IFL has really turned me into a competent engineer with reasonable knowledge of the mechanical elements.

It helped me so much gaining the practical exposure of the oil companies. I have visited almost all the important areas at a oil rig and i'm aware of the machines used. Although 6 weeks is a small time to completely understand the process of a company, but atleast i got a good overview.
