I have over 17 years of research and teaching experience in the UK, and South Asia. I have published over 50 articles in leading journals, book chapters and conferences. My research expertise range from materials, design, development, mechanics, and optimisation based on industrial requirements. PhD in mechanical response of composite nonwoven fibrous networks with focus on modelling their deformation and damage behaviours. I am leading Mechanical Engineering Programme (PG) as Course Director at De Montfort University and diversity and inclusion champion in Faculty of CEM (Computing, Engineering and Media). I have got several research grants as PI and Co-PI from various organisations including Royal Academy of Engineering, Academy of Medical Sciences, IET, IMechE.
