At the Dakhni Gas Processing Plant and Oilfield, where power is self-generated through gas turbines, I actively contributed to power system operation and maintenance, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting and digital control. Collaborating with the team, I played a pivotal role in implementing preventive maintenance strategies, ensuring the reliability of electrical equipment in a dynamic industrial environment. My internship provided exposure to various power system protection equipment, the utilization of CTs and VTs, and procedures for system energization post-blackout. This experience has significantly bolstered my practical skills in electrical engineering.
