Current•Attending the Inspection Requests (Civil & Architecture) submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.•Reviewing of the submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, IFC and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices. •Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and reporting to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and discharge instruction to the contractor.•Monitoring quality of works and assessing the safety at the site including health and environmental issues, ensuring the same complies with contracts / QCS specifications, safety, and health risk assessment, and environmental mitigating measures respectively on a daily basis.•Maintaining the records for activities on site including progress photos and ensuring they are readily available for inspection as and when required.•Preparing the Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site that is believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. •Checking and ensuring effective coordination between disciplines related works and all other disciplines. •Providing the technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on site that may arise. •Monitoring the contractor’s (ITPs) and quality plan(s) in regard to discipline-related works.•Reviewing & verifying the IPA/ Bills submitted by the contractor.•Ensuring the site progress information is communicated regularly.•Coordinating the works to ensure successful hand-over of the project.
