Current• Meetings with the client to know their demands and provide the best solution for installing GAS/Diesel Generators and Synchronization schemes.• Pre-visits of the site, collect information about installed equipment and make proposals.• Preparation of SLD and P&ID for implementing MTU Royal Royce Gas and Diesel Gensets Installation Layout.• Designing control systems for generators, switchgear, synchronization, and load shed schemes in case of failures and implementing Solar systems with backup/prime power generation.• Energizing of Control, Solar Panels, MCC, and Power panels.• Programming control modules according to MTU standards and ensuring everything follows the standard layout.• Preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning checklist and drawings of the project.• Handles testing and commissioning Rolls Royce MTU Gas/diesel generators and utility synchronization with the generators.• Supervise and coordinate activities for synchronization, e.g., testing of speed regulation, voltage regulation, CT’s polarity, and VCB/ACB functionality before and during the synchronization process. • Assist service teams of North Region on a call using a remote desktop on TeamViewer/Any desk and visit remote sites in case of commissioning and critical emergency troubleshooting.• Make schedules for Preventive and Emergency maintenance, ensure the relevant parts are available in ready stock, and prepare and gather information for warranty-related issues.• Organize training for junior engineers every month and discuss field-related issues.• Diagnose and prepare reports on failures and submit them to our principal for restoration.
