I was part of the launch team for a multi-asset hedge fund which spun out of Hillhouse Capital in mid-2021. I built the firm's institutional-quality governance program and managed all non-investment functions.

I was responsible for the legal and compliance functions for a multi-billion dollar pan-Asia public and private equity fund manager with offices across Hong Kong, the UK, and Singapore.

I led the compliance function for the Asia Ex-Japan (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore) business of a global custodian and fund administrator with responsibility over regulatory compliance, AML & Sanctions, Anti-Fraud, and Data Protection for the region.

I served as compliance counsel for the leading Chinese investment bank with a focus on anti-money laundering and sanctions, regulatory exams and investigations, and regulatory change management.

I was a co-founder of an early dot-com company. We built a pop-culture content network with monthly traffic exceeding three million hits and was featured as a "Top 50" web property by several major online publications. When the dot-com bubble crashed, our viewership continued to grow but ad revenue fell by 90% and we could no longer support our infrastructure costs.
