Design creates experience and experience drives business. I believe that experiences must provide benefits, both practical and emotional, to the user. I ground my experiential design work in data (from consumers, operations, and finance) to deliver executable and financially viable initiatives. I think differently about problem-solving by trying to understand the "why" (what are we really trying to solve) before the "how" (the final product). I immerse myself in the experience to seek the emotional need state and desired experience of the user to envision the ideal journey. I embrace rapid ideation and quick concept visualization with collaborative participation and engagement of stakeholders early in the process. I drive internal support and engagement by framing and communicating design concepts in business terms to enable stakeholders to clearly understand the benefits and/or trade-off of each idea supported by commercialization models.My design thinking driven approach and bias for action enables rapid development cycles and fast time to market concepts. My management style promotes high achieving, accountable, connected, and resilient teams able to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
