• To elaborate process audits;• Develop new procedures to optimize the brown pulp (pinus and eucalyptus) production plant, paper machines for kraftliner and medium;• Assist the process engineering department in the development and implementation of process and quality parameters for pulp and paper;• Support the development of new products for pulp and paper machines as well as customer service.• Work together with research and development, R & D;• Elaboration of studies in order to identification, analysis and elimination of bottlenecks in the pulp and paper lines;• Elaboration of process audits, aimed at optimizing production and reducing costs;• Identification of training needs as well as the preparation and training the production teams;• Assist the engineering department in the preparation of studies of short-term, medium term and long term growth plan for the unit, prioritizing investments with a better financial return, as well as projects for operational continuity, safety and the environment;• Monitor and coordinate the implementation of optimization projects and new equipment;• Responsible for the elaboration of optimization project for the paper and pulp production areas.

1) Senior Process Engineer – Visy Pulp and Paper. – Australia (Mar.- 2009 to Oct 2010) Visy Pulp and Paper is the biggest paper & board producer of Australia.- Develop process audits for improving or solve problems;- Develop new products and process;- Provide coaching to production and maintenance teams regarding to new technologies;- Develop mill mass and energy balances;- Develop new chemicals suppliers;- Coordinate the process engineers team;- Help the quality team to resolve customers complaints;- Studies to new projects for optimization;

2) Consultant of Process (Paper Production) – Klabin Papeis S.A. - Brazil (Sep. - 1999 to Mar. - 2009).Klabin Papeis S.A is the biggest paper & board producer of Latin America and 6° worldwide.- Responsible for the operation and production of the paper machine number 01, that produces around 118,000 t/y of sack kraft paper and flat bleached and unbleached paper;- Development of new products and process optimization;- Responsible for the implementation and commissioning of the optimization project for paper machine number 01, from 112,000 to 118,000 tonnes per year;- Identify necessity of investments for the annual business plan;- Prepare studies for the annual investment plan;- Commissioning of the first high consistency refining plant of Brazil;- Project and commissioning of the first system for on line control of refining, based in Freeness control and fiber morphology, using neural network and fuzzy logical of the world;- Project and commissioning of the first system for the wet end chemistry control to paper machine based in neural network and fuzzy logical of the world;- Support projects for engineering;- Technical support to board of Klabin Santa Catarina;- Technique audit in the Klabin mills;- Technical trips for benchmarking, national and international to Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Poland, South Africa and Argentina;

3) Industrial Coordinator and Projector Designer – Igaras Papeis e Embalagens S.A. Brazil.- (Jul. - 1993 to Sep. - 1999).Igaras used to be the second biggest paper & board producer of Brazil and the biggest kraft liner exporter. In 2000 it started to belong to Klabin group.- Responsible for operation of the paper machine, production capacity of 55.000 t/y of test liner and medium paper;- Responsible for the project area and maintenance;- Responsible for the implementation and startup of the effluent treatment plant, 150m³/h;- Responsible for project to expand the recycle paper plant, capacity 240 t/day;- Responsible for project and commissioning of new burner system for the steam boilers;- Responsible for project and commissioning of the formation area of the paper machine, to increase speed and formation;
