I worked for 1.5 years in a fixed-term position at Visit Jyväskylä Region as a project manager for two Lakeland projects. One of the projects aimed at international growth and the other at domestic growth. Together they built an organization that started marketing the products and services of tourism companies located in the 18 municipalities of Central Finland at the beginning of 2022 in Finlandand abroad.My work included organizing international tour operator visits and media visits, marketing accommodations and experiences, business consulting, planning, and managing multi-channel campaigns, consulting in new product development and product pricing, participating in international events, budgeting, administrative tasks, networking and influencing, as well as forecasting and planning the future. I was responsible for payments and reporting and participated in foreign workshops and other events. The employment relationship was temporary due to an EU-funded project.

Ranua Wildlife Park is in Lapland, Finland, one hour drive from Rovaniemi. At the Ranua Wildlife Park you can see polar bears, as well as 50 different other arctic animal species in the midst of northern woods. Ranua offers accommodation and a variety of program services for an adventuresome holiday trip in the heart of true Lappish wilderness. The company also has Arctic Fox Igloo village with 20 glass igloos and a restaurant, Gulo Gulo holiday village with 30 spacious apartments, Wildlife Safaris, Wild Arctic Restaurant, Café White Swan, shops and two camping sites. Ranua village is famous for it's cloudberry market. I was working as CEO for the company from January until September 2020.

Visit Levi / Levi Tourist Office Ltd is a joint marketing and sales company in the Levi area.Levi Destination Sales and Marketing offers: destination marketing, central booking office services – you can easily book around 750 holiday apartments of different size and type, activities for individual guests and groups, transfers, meals, ski lift cards and equipment, conference packages, special events for groups and companies, incentive programs and more, DMC services and Tourist information services. I was part of the management team and responsible of global sales team.

GBTIMES Ltd. is a full service international media company, registered and headquartered in Finland. FutuVision Ltd. produces editorial and multimedia content in multiple languages and formats for all types of media. I was part of the management team and responsible of global sales team, especially to build and develop sales organization in EMEA area and in China. I was also maintaining and coordinating the sales & marketing activities related. I headed a number of international projects related to event management, media content production, service design, Chinese social media and multichannel marketing campaigns.

Helsinki Expert Ltd. was a service and marketing company that generated, marketed and sold tourism, leisure, events, meetings and conference services in the Helsinki region. The most well-known services were the Helsinki This Week City Guide, The Helsinki Card, tours for groups and guide services. I was part of the management team and responsible of marketing, branding, launching new brands, PR, new customer acquisition and recruitment.

Forex Ltd. was one of the biggest currency exchange companies in Europe. I was working in many different positions, and finally leading the operations in Finland. My areas of responsibilities included marketing, sales, PR, quality, opening new shops and recruitment. I was supervising nine sales teams and acting as a contact person for partners and different authorities. I was also Editor-In-Chief of the customer magazine.

I was working as a Tour Leader and Destination Manager for two Finnish tour operators, Lomamatkat and Kymppimatkat.
