I am Enoch Kofi Boadu, a passionate entrepreneur and mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience in sustainable waste management and renewable energy solutions. As the founder and CEO of DAS Biogas, I am dedicated to transforming organic waste into valuable resources like biogas and organic fertilizer, significantly contributing to environmental sustainability in Ghana.At DAS Biogas, we have successfully implemented numerous innovative projects, including large-scale wastewater treatment plants and biogas systems for communities and institutions. Our solutions reduce landfill waste, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and promote clean energy. Our notable projects include a 170m³ wastewater treatment plant for Lord Jesus Ministry and a 4114m³ wastewater treatment system for the Tetrem community.One of our groundbreaking innovations is the development of a portable prefabricated biogas plant designed to help households manage domestic waste and generate their own energy from food waste. This solution encourages waste segregation and provides an eco-friendly alternative to traditional waste disposal methods, allowing households to produce their own clean cooking gas and organic fertilizer.In addition to DAS Biogas, I founded Nockfii Ventures in 2005, a venture that processed cereals into infant food, which operated until 2007. My professional journey includes a decade as a Science and ICT tutor at Juaben RC JHS from 2007 to 2017. I also served as Secretary for the Juaben Community Water Board from 2009 to 2015.I am a proud member of the first cohort of the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre of Ashesi University in 2018. My work has been recognized with the second runner-up award in the Sanitation Challenge for Ghana. I have contributed as a speaker and facilitator on the theme "There is a Green Alternative," organized by the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre.My education includes a mechanical engineering degree from KNUST and Kumasi Polytechnic. I have completed short courses in biogas design and construction (2014) and stand-alone solar PV installation (2016) from Brew Hammond Energy Centre, KNUST. Additionally, I have two publications in peer-reviewed journals.I have the ambition to expand DAS Biogas across West Africa and Africa, bringing our sustainable waste management and renewable energy solutions to more communities and contributing to a cleaner and greener continent.I am always open to connecting with like-minded professionals, reach out to me to discuss sustainable waste management, renewable energy solutions, or potential partnerships.
