Under the AV department, I help maintain audio-visual equipment (projectors, mics, mixers, etc) and assist instructors troubleshoot their audio-visual equipment. I also help register students and bookstore transfers/purchases when needed. My coworkers are a group of individuals that are keen on filling roles that are lacking at any given time.

The biggest take away from the employment was building friendly connections throughout Lower Mainland stores by covering other stores' Shipper/Receivers. The coworkers were like-minded individuals who have a passion for technology, computers and video games.

- Acquired Forklift License - Became Warehouse Lead in 3 months.

I helped develop a web/responsive application using JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS and HTML/HTML5. The application is a music player with a simple and intuitive UI that provides a UX with a miniscule learning curve. The player will be integrated with other applications to eventually become the digital version of "Music Bingo", our client's product. Along with 4 other students from BCIT, we built the player from scratch and finished the project in 4 weeks. Though not completely bug free (what application/program isn't), the project was successfully completed with all necessary functional requirements determined by the client. The client was very happy with our work and has us offered additional projects to work on.
