Project leader responsibilities consist of planning, communicating and managing well-site information such as offset wells, structure maps and well plans. Supervision and training the nighthand and trainees. Analyzing real-time data to coordinate the curve landing and lateral steering with the off-site operations geologist. Advising the directional team of any current and potential changes in the targeted reservoir and constructing a plan to anticipate the dip of formation.Well-site services:• Completed well evaluation report of lithology, hydrocarbon gas and geosteering processes, spud-in to total depth.• E-log analysis of vertical hole wells to describe lithology in one-foot resolution.• Vertical and lateral lithology descriptions and report. • Daily reports included a lithology log which follows the entire drilled wellbore, in-depth description of petro-physical data & drill cuttings along with classification of its ultra violet fluorescence to determine oil saturation/maturity, hydrocarbon gas monitoring of shows & background levels.Geo-steering services:• Identified formation tops in the vertical hole and curve using offset well logs, regional isopach studies, drilling parameters and gamma radiation to adjust and land the drill bit in the ideal target zone of the producing reservoir.• Interpreted gamma ray signatures, rate of penetration, differential pressure, and weight on bit to geosteer the drill bit to maximize 'in zone' percentages in unconventional oil and gas plays.

Mentoring students who had difficulty understanding and applying geologic principles and processes. Subjects ranged from entry level geology to upper level classes such as petrology, stratigraphy, oceanography and structural geology. Material included standard homework assignments, upcoming examinations and techniques to improve studying habits and memorization skills.

Assisting professors with prepping, teaching and evaluating students within their geology classes.
