After completing my master degree in materials engineering and after working for a while in a big research company in Japan I started my Ph.D in Nuclear Physics and Mechanical engineering, fields that always attracted my interest. The project was financed by the European Commission through the excellence programme Marie Curie.I obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Vienna University of Technology with the highest grade and a special mention.Since acquiring the Ph.D. I haven’t stopped doing research.
