In 1981 I started at an amateur level, with a film camera.I photographed trying not to remain rigidly in the subject and composition schemes suggested by the photographic circles I frequented: Circolo Fotografia Savonese (Savona), VerdeBlu (Albissola Superiore - Savona) and Famiglia Legnanese (Legnano - Milan).In 2018 I finally switched to a digital camera: finally free from the roll of film !But digital has a drawback compared to film: in my opinion you have to shoot as if you were still using film, otherwise you get carried away and think that "if my photo is ugly I will delete it ... "!Since a year I have decided that my photographs must no longer be just photographs, they must be the expression of my art through a camera!I decided to capture the beauty and elegance of the reality that surrounds me, interpreting it but not falsifying it.I don't want to make photomontages, I don't want to post-produce my images with filters or effects, the reality that surrounds us is beautiful and elegant as it is !Will I be able to call myself an "artist" ? Who knows, I'll try ... Meanwhile, I keep looking for the subjects I like ...
