Responsible of the Italian production suppliers, my tasks involved from product development to constant and directvisit of factories and laundries for prototypes, salesman samples and bulk production control and management.My responsibilities have gone from suppliers researches and evaluations, trends brainstorming, overview of productions, merchandise control and delivery, problem solving. - Visiting trade shows, attending conferences involved with the social compliance, market research from a purchase stand point, frequent contacts with fashion goods suppliers.- Intermediate and support on research and development of new proposals.- Coordinate and support of Danish and Chinese designers and buyers in their trips to Italy for shopping research with great knowledge of the Florence, Bologna, Milano, Adriatic Riviera fashion districts and stores. - Product development for a special capsule collection within Jack&Jones for men’s clothes.- Interview vendors and visit supplier’s plants and distribution centres to examine products, services and prices. - Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality service. - Negotiation with suppliers with reference to prices, delivery terms, production lead time, problem solving. - Analyse and review performances of purchased items, costs, deliveries, quality and inventories.- Control production flow to comply with terms of qualities and conditions or to determine need for changes.
