About Enrico Remigi
I am an environmental engineer with an MSc and a PhD in Environmental & Sanitary Engineering.My academic research focused on the anaerobic digestion of industrial and municipal wastewaters; and involved a considerable amount of laboratory activity whereby I managed to acquire experience in a variety of analytical methods and techniques as well as in data collection and evaluation.Over the years, I worked in a few different fields (process modelling, urban traffic and pollution, clinical studies and environmental sciences) which have enabled me to diversify my environmental knowledge and awareness and to strengthen my ability to tackle new challenges.I have worked on several project, as project leader or principal modeller; I have supervised many bachelor and MSc Eng students; authored and co-authored scientific works that I presented at international conferences and/or published on scientific journals; and peer reviewed scientific papers for publication.I have progressively focused on modelling and simulation of wastewater treatment processes and specialised in the use of the WEST software which I contribute to maintain and develop.
