Direct oversight of the thirty-one campus Student Affairs directors, as well as the indirect oversight of the entire Student Affairs staff nationwide (approximately two thousand employees), encompassing areas such as athletics, cultural formation, student groups and organizations, counseling and psychological services, medical services, residence halls, life and career centers, disciplinary matters, addiction prevention programs, among others.Establishment, development and implementation of the strategic and operational planning of the areas related to Student Affairs at the Tec de Monterrey.Organization of national sporting, cultural and student group events, involving more than seven thousand students annually.Estbalishment, coordination and implementation of the “Líderes del Mañana” program, which seeks to identify and award full financial aid to low-income, academically outstanding students that are committed to the development of their community (250 student on an annual basis).Coordination of the national Student Affairs Advisory Board, comprising regional Student Affairs directors and other members of Tec de Monterrey community.Member of the editorial board of the official Tec de Monterrey magazine.Coordination of the report for the accreditation of Tec de Monterrey by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) related to the areas within the purview of Student Affairs.Design and implementation of training courses for Tec de Monterrey Student Affairs personnel nationwide. The training courses encompass topics related to specialty areas such as student counseling, student retention, student development theories among others.Coordination of the annual revision of the Tec de Monterrey student policies and regulations regarding student conduct.Representing the Tec de Monterrey in numerous national and international forums.Coordination of the eight American football Division I teamscof the Mexican CONADEIP Premier League.

Coordination of the National Directors of International Programs Committee, comprising personnel from Tec de Monterrey campuses around Mexico.Definition of policies related to both sending students abroad as well as the reception of international students, following criteria such as grade point average, number of courses, language requirements, etc.Oversight of the application and updating of more than 400 agreements between the Tec de Monterrey and universities abroad.Development and implementation of the regulations for international programs on both the high school and undergraduate levels.Development of systems for the automation of processes related to the sending and reception of international students.Development and implementation of programs for the training of the Directors of International Programs at Tec de Monterrey campuses both in person and online.Drafting and publication of the annual report of the activities of the International Programs Division in both English and Spanish.
