Taking the census population of Southeastern Texas.

Investigated crimes of motor vehicle theft, fraud, narcotics trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering, tax fraud, identity theft, illegal gambling, credit card theft, organized retail theft, weapons offenses, and other organized criminal activity and applicant investigations. Planned and conducted surveillance operations in furtherance of these investigations. Participated as an undercover operative in furtherance of these investigations. Wrote out and executed search and arrest warrants in furtherance of these investigations. Assisted and cooperated with other officers, services, agencies, and entities in furtherance of these investigations. Gathered and maintained physical evidence from crime scenes in furtherance of these investigations. Interviewed and interrogated witnesses and suspects in furtherance of these investigations. Kept local prosecutors informed of ongoing investigations and assisted in the prosecution of suspects through depositions and testimony in court.

Served in both Highway Patrol and Driver License Services. In the Highway Patrol Service, conducted rural traffic law supervision and criminal law enforcement. Member of Civil Disorder Management Teams in Amarillo and Waco Districts. Accident investigation and reconstruction. In addition, assisted other officers, services, and agencies when requested. In the Driver License Service, assisted with supervision of Driver License personnel in one of the largest driver license offices in the State of Texas. Assisted in all aspects of driver license and commercial driver license issuance and regulation. In addition to these duties, continued to enforce traffic and criminal laws, serve warrants of arrest, and conduct fraudulent document and driver license fraud investigations. In both the Highway Patrol and Driver License Service, conducted numerous job applicant investigations and assisted with emergency management in times of disasters or crisis.

Inmate incarceration and detention.

0311-Infantry. Military base security and reactionary force at a naval weapon storage facility. Multiple training missions with other countries' military forces on amphibious landings, weapons usage, and other combat techniques. Infantry combat training with an emphasis on cold weather environments. Licensed to drive jeep and 3/4 ton truck. Received Japanese military license endorsement. During term of enlistment visited the following countries and territories: Guam, Tinian, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Zaire (Congo), Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome, Norway, Japan, and South Korea.
