Retired Criminal Investigator and Texas State Trooper with over 20 years of experience in complex criminal investigations, traffic law enforcement, general police work, and driver license issuance, examination, and restriction. I maintain a Special Ranger Commission through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). It is a reserve position for DPS in time of emergency offered to retired DPS officers that leave in good standing. My interests are both military veterans and criminal justice issues. I was involved with a volunteer veteran-mentor program dedicated to reducing recidivism through evidence-based programs for recently released incarcerated military veterans. I am also very involved in the local detachment of the Marine Corps League and am a member of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs. I was the facilitator for the Pistol Team for the Eastex Detachment #779. I am Junior Vice Pound Leader for the Crossroad Dogs Pound of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs.
