I am a Solutions Architect for organizations whose projects need a flying start in their initial stage of development. With over 30 years of experience in marketing communications, business strategy consulting, and concept development, I build bridges between technical teams and executives by structuring and facilitating multi-discipline workshops. I’ve worked with clients and partners in over a dozen industries and across much of the world. My specialty is to unravel the communication challenges within multi-stakeholder, high-value opportunities. I can be an alternative to a permanent hire of a solution architect, or the workshops that I facilitate can be seen as a low-cost alternative to hiring a team of consultants.Multidisciplinary Workshops: I facilitate workshops that enable multidisciplinary and creative discussions. A desirable end result is defined and decomposed through back-casting to build a shared understanding of what needs to be done. To share the insight created in the workshop with a wider audience I also create all needed documentation. The workshop experience and the documentation work together to capture and share the combined insight of the participants. As the facilitator, I use my wide industry knowledge and communications experience to help reach actionable conclusions.Concept Development: As an optional extension to my workshops I engage in concept development work as preparation for investment decisions, for organizational setup and rollout of services, or for other long-term decision making. My concept development work focus on establishing a complete proposal that unify multiple stakeholders for a powerful go-ahead. Three keys to achieve this are; a concise and precise vocabulary to be used across disciplines; a simple and clear structure; and effective visualization. Concepts that encompass both marketing, operational, and technical parts of a solution can accelerate the process towards implementation. With a common reference – the concept – further detailing by several disciplines have can happen in parallel rather than sequentially.
