I am a resourceful, service-oriented, tenacious problem solver by trade - and an old-fashioned storyteller by heart. After a couple of decades in television, rock and roll, comedy and live events, I slowed down to have my daughter. I thought all the experience (and experiences) that came before would be some help in raising her - like I had somehow prepared myself for parenthood. (Oh yes, I do know how silly that sounds now.)I went back to school to get certified in MIS which led me to tech support at an inbound call center for Dell Computer. Often among the top five on my team in metrics, I loved solving the different puzzles every day and learning new technologies as they emerged.Those years taught me so much and distilled my seemingly far-flung professional personality down to this: I am happiest as a facilitator, interacting with a wide array of people and handling different issues every day.I find real satisfaction in contributing to the success of a project, an event, or a client. As a fan and true believer in delegation and collaboration, I decided to return to entertainment. Another issue then became clear: I'd been rendered an analog girl in a predominantly digital world. (I'm still the proud owner of a 3/4" Avid deck!) So I am back at school now, ready to take on an industry internship in editing, motion graphics and production.
