• Management: Responsible for comprehensive business operations including Human Resources, Environment, Social, Governance, Finance, and oversight of a forest values chain with a USD 3 million annual budget, 13,000ha plantation, and production of 40,000m3 of forest products, coordinating 60 own workers, 400 contractor workers, 7 contractors, and community engagement across 8 communities.• Innovation: Pioneered a "Timber Processing Startup" by leveraging contractors with available resources and experience in harvesting and milling, achieving a 45% mill recovery rate, exporting 8,000m3 of timber annually, improving cash flow by 60%, revenue by 100%, and ensuring payment for work completed rather than attendance.• Leadership & Development: Managed and led all business facets and value chain components, developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and execution guidelines, provided FSC FM and CoC technical support, and offered advisory services and policy development for government partners.

• Efficiency: Improved harvesting recovery rates from 60% to 90% via enhanced harvesting systems and training, alongside the sustainable utilization of wood waste through in-field chips production and at the mill.• Oversight: My role encompassed the management of forest development, overseeing harvesting, sawmilling operations, sales, wood chipping production, and resin tapping, in addition to steering the sales and marketing strategies.

• Project Leadership: Spearheaded the "Forest Management System" project, leading to the adoption of activity-based budgeting and monitoring, achieving 95% data accuracy, and GIS mapping across 48,000 hectares, which streamlined procurement with 100% accurate purchase orders at a click and reduced future volume prediction time from months to minutes.• Technical Management: Accountable for all forest technical matters, including bio-asset valuation, forest management plan formulation, yield regulation, creation of SOPs, policies, and checklists for silviculture and harvesting operations, and executing field audits to ensure work standard compliance.

• Community Engagement: Successfully led community consultation efforts that secured land access, achieving permanent leases for 77% of 105,000 hectares, a pivotal achievement for the long-term viability of the project, and initiated species trials to enhance site-species matching for commercial planting.

• Operational Excellence: Directed all plantation operations for an FSC certified forest spanning 8,000ha, overseeing 100 in-house workers and 400 contractor personnel through 3 contractors. Achieved a significant increase in labor productivity from 30% to over 100%, yielding a cost saving of 70%.

• Data Management: Oversaw GIS and remote sensing data development, processing, analysis, and spatial modeling to assess risks such as floods and droughts and monitored plant health. Conducted focal and thematic mapping for six government departments.

• GIS Development: Established a GIS and remote sensing database covering 48,000 ha, formulated a forest database for 30,000 ha, and engaged in spatial modeling for site species matching, site machine mapping, and fire risk assessment.

• Academic Instruction: Delivered lectures to over 500 undergraduate and 20 master’s students across four key courses: Biometrics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Forest Economics, and Statistical Methods.
