I am interested in scientific research of remote sensing in Earth, marine and atmosphericsciences, R&D&I, education and project management.Items of special professional interest enclose radar polarimetry, maritime surveillance, oceanography, hydrography, complex algebra, object detection, classification, identification, scientific data analysis, extraction of environmental parameters and modelling.I have been involved in several remote sensing projects, ranging from forestry and agriculture to monitoring the sea-ice, snow, flooding, oil-slicks, maritime traffic and artificial objects.From 1987 until 2008, I was employed full-time as a remote sensing research scientist of the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Laboratory of Space Technology in Finland at https://bit.ly/3fLK5lN and https://bit.ly/3foxIgu .
