Employed as Business Development manager at Eco environmental. Developed relationships with all the main environmental consultants and other potential clients in Perth. - Managing Air and dust Contracts on a monthly basis.- Providing technical help concerning equipment and methods to clients.

Employed to setup and organize a new dust monitoring laboratory in Pinjarra as part of the particulate monitoring requirements needed by the Alcoa refinery in the south west.Following is a short list of the areas I was responsible for:the Alcoa refinery in the south west.- Co-ordinate the successful delivery of technical requirements to gain NATA accreditation for dust monitoring.- Safety Implementation for the Pinjarra lab including attending site safety meetings and chairing local monthly safety meetings.- Point of contact for resolving any issues relating to the dust lab (including field monitoring and analysis).- Manage Ad-hoc dust and Water monitoring projects on an as needs basis.- Monthly reports content review- Ensuring client satisfaction.

I served as a Director of Lambeth Scientific Services Limited for 9 years since its institution in April 1998. Some details of tasks follow.• Project management of various company contracts for both private enterprises and local government bodies (e.g. air pollution monitoring for areas throughout the UK)• Report writing and interpretation of scientific results for both in-house and sub-contracted tests• Strong technical skills to troubleshoot and fix scientific equipment (e.g. gas/liquid chromatographs and thermal desorption systems)• Development of templates, procedures and techniques to comply with UK quality accreditation standards• Business development - designing marketing and advertising schemes for the company, building and expanding client base• Responsible for laboratory purchasing and maintenance including buying and installing pure gases for analysis, chemical purchasing, new equipment specification and ordering.• In charge of all IT planning, purchasing, maintenance. Set up and maintained the company network and company mail server.• Managed health and safety for the company• Co-coordinated work experience placements for local schools/colleges as well as industry placements for degree and PHD students looking for research and laboratory facilities• Organised and conducted annual tours and seminars at Lambeth Scientific Services Ltd for college (TAFE) students on laboratory techniques, organisation and management.
