From a young age, I was diagnosed to be on the spectrum, later known as ADHD. It presented both social and academic obstacles, which I faced head-on. It ultimately led me to develop a steadfast work ethic, enabling me to excel academically and develop great connections.Academic hurdles became a defining aspect of my journey with ADHD. Instead of disheartening, I embraced the challenge and developed an unwavering work ethic. With it, I created a superpower to multitask and have a laser-like focus. Over time, This work ethic allowed me to catch up to my classmates and outdo myself by excelling in the most challenging AP classes.Not only did I succeed in my academics, but also in Scouting, from a Cub Scout who has walked the path to Eagle. Scouting has brought many situations where I've learned to hone my leadership and problem-solving skills. I would eventually lead my fellow scouts in completing my Eagle Scout project.Equally important to my journey has been my time on the wrestling team. Wrestling has challenged me to the fullest extent. The rigorous training, from maintaining peak physical condition to mental strength, prepared me for matches that could be intimidating. Facing opponents with the potential outcome of victory or defeat taught me the importance of resilience and staying optimistic in facing adversity.Now, as a first-year finance student at UTD with a passion for numbers. I've always been drawn to finance, even early in Scouting by the Personal Mangement badge and trading stocks. However, my journey has taken an exciting turn as I pivot towards a career in data science. With the rise in AI, I aspire to further my education and leverage the potential of AI to enable financial independence for myself and others in my generation.
