I'm founder and CEO of Butterfly, a company specialized in Decision-Making digital solution. The company was born downstream of a PhD research project regarding Decision-Making in a Complex Scenarios. The company has developed software that combining Machine Learning with Behavioral Sciences allows to track, qualify and speed up decisions.

I was in charge of the project management activity, supervising ongoing projects and acting as a direct interface for clients. I reported directly to the top management of the Company, including the President and CEO.

As a Project manager, my main duties include the responsibility of managing all relevant phases (set-up, planning, execution, closing) of Magaldi projects for International Clients. I’m the client directly interface and the first point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising from within the heads of various department (Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Production, Installation), with which I try to solve problems in an agile way, avoiding that a problem degenerate and then must to be escalates to top management. My responsibilities at Magaldi include also the management of SUPPLY projects and the EXPEDITING of key suppliers.

I was in charge of managing the Company's strategic planning, analyzing the workloads of the company's operational departments (Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Constr.), Considering both operational projects and the potential impact of commercial opportunities.

In ERSAI LLC (Joint Venture between SAIPEM and ERC Technologies), I dealt with the start-up of Production Planning and Control Department: recruiting and training of local and international resources, development and implementation of corporate information systems for management and control of fabrication activities. As head of department, I followed tree main area, Time and Method, Material Management and Production Planning, in particular:- Work estimation and budget definition;- Project planning and workload definition;- Mobilization and subcontractor strategies;- Fabrication and erection method statement;- Constructability and feasibility analysis;- Fabrication activities budget definition for bid purpose-Material ManagementI have been involved in corporate fabrication information system development and in its implementation in different sites and on different projects around the world.
