Working on package for new social housing projects; Dromore Street – Ballynahinch, Dromore Street - Banbridge and Sloan Street - Lisburn. Construction drawing package included site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, doors and windows schedule, kitchen layouts and construction details.

Involved in working on a variety of exciting new projects – Down Leisure Centre, Downpatrick and F. E McWilliam Gallery & Studio extension, Banbridge.My duties was producing drawings and specifications for the construction team, working closely with other professionals like surveyors and civil engineers, assisting the construction details to the project architect, preparation of drawings for Building Control and ensuring building projects are completed within budget and schedule.

My Job function was to produced detailed construction drawings of bespoke joinery, furniture, architectural components and fittings for buildings, ships and fit-out contracts. The projects I worked on: Ships – Beauty Parlour Fit-out ;Sun Princess Cruise. Corridor, Nightclub, Atrium & Bar Fit-out; Disney Cruise. Four Apartments Fit-out; Crystal Cruise. Lounge/Office Fit-out; Thomson Cruise.Buildings – New Interior bespoke joinery & furniture; Fitzroy Apartments, Fitzroy Penthouse, Fitzroy Commercial & 64 Winnington Road.All of my projects have been involved working within AutoCAD drawing detail package. This involved planning, organization, coordination and commitment.

In my role as Architect Technician I worked on:tender retail projects for Sainsbury’s – Cheadle & Bishops Waltham.curtain walling projects for frameworks department – Tesco Sunderland, Tesco Aberdeen, Tesco Corby, Forits & Holywood Exchange.refurbishment cladding project for Buchanan House in Glasgow.standard details for McL&H temporary works in terms of health and safety issues and close up details for Sainsbury’s package.My duties included working with autocad drawing details, detailed working packages, curtain walling details, close up detail, surveying work and water ingress reports.

I worked on a variety of projects including hotel, offices, mixed use developments and large scale private housing schemes. I have experience in feasibility studies including estate restructuring and remodeling. The projects ranged from Premier Inn at Gatwick (a 630 bed Inn), Jurys Inn at Baltic Quay in Newcastle, Jurys Inn at Lancefield Quay in Glasgow, Housing Development in Navan, Hotel & Apartment development in Portsmouth and Ross Street Flats in Belfast. My responsibilities included with 3D models, detailed working drawing packages, showing elevations, sections, floor & ceiling plans, close-up details, computer rendered visual images, redesign of the interior and detailed working drawings for the work to the envelope.

I worked in an Architect’s office as an intern on AutoCAD for various projects. These included single housing projects, a factory, apartment complexes and retail outlets. I also surveyed existing buildings in order to put them on the correct scale on AutoCAD and then added the correct scale drawings of any proposals for the amendments to be made to the buildings. I attended meetings with clients and I learned many skills from colleagues such as residential house project, surveying works, AutoCAD and drawing sketches.
