QC Laboratory Extension ProjectLead Project Engineer for construction and qualification of a new QC Laboratory. This project delivered a new two storey QC Laboratory Building provided to increase the operational floor area available to the Quality Control function on the Ground Floor, while also creating a fallow office space in the first floor for future development.Role and Responsibility through Construction:- Primary Client contact for Design Team and Contractors, resolution of CSA RFIs- Management of Client Stakeholders through Construction- Oversight of Client side Construction Management team- Oversight of EHS performance on site- Commercial management including appraisal of variations, instructions and monthly payment applications- Client side Cost Reporting- Procurement of specialist equipment vendors and service providers- Client side Schedule coordination and review- Management of Validation Team through generation of system qualification documentationRole and Responsibility through Qualification:- Oversight of Validation Team activities through qualification of Direct, In-Direct and No-Impact GMP systems- Management of vendor qualification activities- Handover of systems to client side user and maintenance personnel- Support of Construction final account close out- Qualification Schedule management

Delivering Project Engineer role on projects in the Pharma, BioPharma, Medical Device, Environmental Management and Commercial sectors. This national body represents construction contractors specialising in the delivery of civil engineering projects. Its members are active within Ireland and overseas, and have played an essential role in the building of Ireland’s economic infrastructure. Civil Engineering & Building contracting company. Turnover averaged €10m per annum and we employed approximately 70 direct staff and 30 contractor staff in these years. Typical projects completed in this time comprised the construction of; sewer and water pipelines, power transmission ducting and cabling , transportation infrastructure, urban streetscape renewal schemes and road & bridges infrastructure. Overview:Acted as Project Manager, Contractor’s Supervisor and PSCS on a variety of projects during this time. The following list summarises some of the most significant of these:- Ardmore Sewerage Scheme, Ardmore Co. Waterford (€1m, commenced 2012)Construction of storm & foul sewerage network scheme in a historical coastal village.- Cornmarket Street Refurbishment Project, Cork City (€1m)High profile city centre project which comprised the construction of a quality natural stone surfaced street with associated services.- Ballincollig Green Route & Water Services Project, Co. Cork (€9m)Water Services & Transportation project undertaken in an extremely busy suburban environment. Project scope included installation of significant water and sewerage pipelines and services and also the construction of new footways & carriageways through approximately 4.5km of roadway. Architect designed streetscape design also constructed in town centre.- College Road Refurbishment Project, Cork City (€6m)Another city centre urban streetscape project. This project was the first undertaken in Ireland under the then new GCCC Public Works Contract.Achievements:- Many of these projects delivered in extremely tight constrained urban environments with requirements for liaison with multiple stakeholders throughout.- All projects delivered to programme.- Effectively managed and motivated delivery teams be they from direct or sub-contract staff.- Considered to execute role with a fair, clear and direct management style.Responsibilities:- Programme and commercial performance of project.- Management of project delivery staff and resources.- Primary client facing contact on project.- Liaison with all project stakeholder.- Supply chain management including procurement of materials and specialist sub-contractors.- Compliance with company and statutory responsibilities.- Reporting project performance to client and company management.

Overview:Design and implementation of company Safety Management System. The system comprised a series of documented interventions which ensured that all of the company’s various statutory safety responsibilities were met. In addition, monthly reporting of safety performance was achieved to company management so that deficiencies could be identified at a company level.Achievements:- Designed system from the ground up, taking previous existing elements as starting point.- Creation of standardised suite of documents to be tailored to specific site circumstances by company staff, rolled out system and conducted staff training on establishment.- Achieved ‘B’ grade Safe-T-Cert accreditation of scheme, company targeting ‘A’ grade on next audit.- Appointed safety management consultancy firm to conduct regular auditing of deployment of system. Feedback results to company senior management and dictated agenda of future audits and communication interventions to address detected deficiencies.Responsibilities:- Responsibility for safety performance in company.- Design and implementation of system.- Management of audit interventions, close out of actions and setting agenda for communication interventions.

Overview:Worked with Business Development & Strategy Team of this global engineering and consultancy firm in a large (600+ staff) office. As part of this team Eoghan was involved in the formulation of the MWH bidding strategy for various UK Water Company AMP4 capital investment programmes, which collectively represented over £21B worth of engineering spend. Acted as Bid Manager on several smaller bid submissions. Other work within the BD&S team included Business Process Analysis, Commercial Modelling and Product Development Manager.Achievements:- Selected from many contemporary applicants as graduate member of BD&S team.- Developed close daily working relationship with MWH Global Strategy Office, David Smith.- Acted as bid manager on several bid submission.- Exposure to working with many of MWH leaders and senior management.- Tasked with Project Managing web-based client PR and liaison tool back ended into CRM database.Responsibilities:- Tender writing and co-ordination of tender document submissions, often to tight deadlines.- Management of tender production process, tender authors regularly sourced from global MW offices.- Acted as project manager on design, implementation and rollout of IT project “plugintoMWH”.
